Comments
Rules for posting comments at Statues and Superheroes (S&S).Anyone who wants to, may leave comments here on this website in response to any article I have posted here (or in response to other comments, so you are free to comment about comments about comments, ad infinitum). However, I have a few rules that people must follow. Failure to follow them will result in the removal of the offending comment, and repeated rule-breaking will result in a site ban.
- Users will remain on-topic for the site. This blog is about comic-books and superhero-based collectibles. More broadly, S&S can encompass anything to do with superheroes, including movies, DVDs, and cartoons. Thus comments must have something to do with comic-books or superheroes. Comments about any other topic (politics, sports, etc.) will be removed.
- Even more specifically, comments must remain on-topic for a given post. If the post is about Supergirl, then please restrict your comments to something having to do with Supergirl. Making a post about the X-men in a topic about Supergirl is (probably) inappropriate (although, one might be comparing a storyline in Supergirl to one in X-men, which would likely be OK). Entirely off-topic comments will be removed. Partly off-topic comments will be edited to remove the off-topic parts.
- Users will refrain from insults or personal attacks (i.e. flames). Disagreements are always welcome, but be polite.
- Insulting or bigoted comments are not permitted.
- This site may not be used to distribute malicious software. Anyone attempting to do so will be reported to the appropriate authorities.
- Spam is not permitted. This includes any form of advertisement for commercial products. If you want to contribute to a review I have made of a commercial product, make sure you are adding material that is “review” based, not an ad!
As long as these rules are followed, we won’t have any problems. Keep your comments on topic to whatever post you are responding to, and polite, and we’re all set.
Pictures and Images
All images on the site were created by the author (usually photographs, sometimes modified in Photoshop) and are posted under the Creative Commons non-commercial license. You are free to download, copy, share, or otherwise use original pictures from this site, as long as you attribute the author, and as long as they are used for non-commercial purposes.
