Issue Reviews are detailed reviews of individual issues, with a quality rating on a scale of 1 (awful) to 10 (outstanding). Issue reviews include a brief summary of the issue, as well as either brief, or extensive, editorial commentary by me. Commentary length usually corresponds inversely with how much I liked the issue. The more problems I have with the story or the art, the longer (and more rant-filled) my comments will be. An example of this is my issue review of Red Sonja #1.
Story Arc Reviews are detailed reviews of a single story arc, such as what you would find in a Trade Paperback. In fact, in most cases that will be the impetus for the review -- if I've bought a Trade, I will usually review it as a story arc rather than an individual issue.
Yearly Reviews are overview articles about an entire year (12 issues) of a comic-book series. Rather than focusing on the specific details of single issues, Yearly Reviews summarize the several story arcs of a full year's worth of comics for a given series. The Yearly Reviews finish up with a long opinion section where I provide my views on the good and bad elements of the series for that year.
Series Reviews are long articles that summarize and discuss entire comic-book series, from issue 1 through the final issue, or else they discuss the entirety of a significant "run" on a comic. A good example of this would be Gail Simone's 60-ish issue run on Birds of Prey. When I have read all of those issues, I might do a "series review" for those issues. Another example would be Legion of Super-Heroes volume 5, of which I have read every issue.
